Publish your app on the AppStore
Publishing process on the AppStore is a bit longer and more complex than the test process with TapPlayer, because it requires a manual intervention on our part.
First, we have to choose whether to publish an app with your developer account or with ours. We can publish your app with no additional cost.
If you want to publish your app with your own developer account, we recommend that you read this article on our website Publish an app with your iTunesConnect account.
If you want to go through our service is much simpler. You have to send your project/app on our servers, but this time by clicking the Publish to the AppStore button in the toolbar in the main window.
Then, you must provide all necessary informations to complete the product of your app on the AppStore. This can be done in the AppStore section. You have 2 types of disclosures:
- The name of your app, description, keywords, contact information.
- Screenshots of your app for various devices.
In this form, you will find information related to a language. By default, all apps have a product in English. To add a new language, just click the language menu and select the language you want. To delete a language, simply select it and click the "Delete" button.
App name:

What's new? :
If it is a new version of your app, it's always interesting to communicate the news to your users. For example "Bug fixes and performance improvements" or "Add a new content sharing feature on Twitter".
Keywords:
Apple allows you to associate a number of keywords to your app. They are not visible to users but they are an essential tool when they are researching in the AppStore. Beware, some keywords will be systematically rejected by Apple, such as:. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac OS, Android or any use of trademarks that are not yours.
URL Support and Marketing URL:
You must provide a web address for users to contact you in case of problems. If you do not have a specific web page, you can simply enter the URL of your website.
Important: In order to validate the information in a language, you must click the Update button. If you do not and you change language or take the next step, your changes are not taken into account.
Screenshots:
Apple asked to provide a number of screenshots of your app (up to 5) and in different formats that match the different screen sizes of the devices:
- 3.5 inches - iPhone 4
- 4.0 inches - iPhone 5
- 4.7 inches - iPhone 6
- 5.5 inches - iPhone 6 more
Since it is likely that you do not have all these iPhone models, you can use the free services CDU Screenshot builder a > of Launchkit to generate all the screenshots.
You are not required to provide copies of screens for all languages. By default, the AppStore use screenshots of the English version.
Once we have all the information, you can start creating your app and submit it on the AppStore. As you probably know, Apple valid manually all the apps and there is therefore a validation period that can take 2 to 7 days.
